The Danish Green Party Alternativet’s 2022 election campaign aimed to highlight the party’s green agenda and emphasize its influence on other political parties. Through innovative communication methods, they sought to create visibility and drive public conversation around environmental issues.

Idea
The central idea was to showcase Alternativet’s impact on the political landscape, particularly its role in pushing other parties toward greener policies. This was communicated through a combination of digital and physical media, notably with animated ads and an attention-grabbing out-of-home (OOH) campaign.
Process
The campaign involved creating animated advertisements that visually represented Alternativet’s environmental stance.
Additionally, a more provocative method was used in the OOH campaign, where election posters from other political parties were altered and painted over, symbolizing Alternativet’s influence on their policies. This bold move attracted media attention and sparked discussions, further amplifying the party’s message.
