This assignment involved creating a title sequence for the TV series LasseMajas Detektivbyrå, reflecting the modern version currently airing on Cmore. The sequence had to include the show’s title, director, lead actors, and production company while effectively setting the tone for a children’s detective series.
Idea
The aim was to move away from previous book and film illustrations and opt for a fresh, unique design that reflected the new cast and vibe of the show.
The character design highlighted exaggerated features to reflect their personalities, while bright colors and close-up shots enhanced the playful detective genre for a younger audience.
Process
The sequence was animated in After Effects, with characters and backgrounds illustrated in ProCreate. Typography and sound design were developed in Premiere Pro. The overall approach focused on dynamic animation, vivid colors, and engaging storytelling to captivate young viewers.
