ISAK
Concept Developer, Interviewer, Videographer & VFX-Artist
A film by: Amanda Lindh, Helena Ljunggren & Ella Westesson
Project
ISAK – a short music documentary portraying the musical artist Isak Danielson, who is only days away from releasing his new album, ”King of a Tragedy.” We get to follow Isak in his daily life and uncover the story behind his career. Why is he an artist, and what makes his heart pound?

Idea
The idea comes from YouTube Music’s series ”Artist Spotlight Stories,” which aims to show artists in a more personal and creative way. With ISAK, we want to give fans a deeper understanding of who Isak is as an artist, blending his personal life with his music career.
Process
We aimed to create a film that got people excited about the artist, whether they were new fans or long-time listeners.
We set out to capture Isak’s everyday life at home, offering viewers a personal glimpse into his world, where his aspirations and story unfold. Next, we joined him during rehearsals, documenting his preparation for the show and building anticipation for the release party.

Ending
The finale lands at a grand release party for Isak’s new album ”King of a Tragedy,” where friends, family, and fans come together to celebrate, leaving viewers eager to listen even more.
